Edit: I know this is hard to follow. I wrote it at 3 in the morning. It was epic so I excitedly wrote this up. Reading it again i find it hard to follow but it was still amazing. Ok edited it slightly to make it less confusing/Edit

Does this deserve its own thread? I think so. Simply because of, like I mentioned, a series of events that ended in an absolutely hilarious finish for the unfortunate survivor team. Make note that this is obviously after the infinite Hunter exploit has been fixed.

It was splitscreen vs online, No Mercy 4, we'd been the infected first so the other team knew when we'd get the tank.  The tank was at the top of the elevator. When it was their turn as infected their Tank tried to get through the vents to get behind the elevator where we all hid. He died instantly.

So. Our turn as infected. We knew the tank was going to spawn at the top of the elevator so me and my flatmate hid at the high ledge overlooking where the elevator arrives at the top. Behind it. Following me? Hope so. He was a hunter and I was a smoker. The other 2 guys in our team were below but thats not important. Remember the hunter and smoker.

The tank triggered when they arrived, and it was me (thank christ). I knew that if I tried to get to the survivors by crawling through the small vent shafts i'd just die, like their Tank did. So i took the tank to the witch which was halfway through the final area, next to the edge, and parked him there *(see below if you don't know what parking the tank is)*. When I lost control it was my flatmates turn as the Tank (what luck!), so I told him to wait as well. Once he'd lost control the tank was parked next to the witch just behind some boxes, and we were normal specials again. The enemy team advanced once the Tank music stopped (theyd been hiding in the vents too) and got to the witch. They set her off before the tank. It incapacitated one, there was a horde from our boomer etc. They all survived, healed up, and approached the tank again.

It was triggered, and the AI tank went for them. They set it on fire and retreated all the way to the vents behind the elevator again. The director decided to spawn us as 3 hunters and a boomer (What luck!).

This is where it gets good. The hunter and smoker that me and my flatmate lost control of when we were the tank were still there waiting on the ledge above the elevator. The suvivors returning must have reawakened them.

The tank gets to the vent and slowly begins to crawl through. Why doesn't he die? The survivors had their hands full. With:

4 hunters
1 smoker
1 boomer
1 tank

They all died very quickly. We were accused of cheating. I had no idea the specials that me and my flatmate left were still there, let alone active. It was the funniest thing i've seen in a LONG time in this game. They all left after that round.

I have to say i'm very proud of that round. It really was 1 in a million.

*Parking the tank. When 2 survivors both lose control of the tank via inactivity, the tank reverts to AI control and just stands there, waiting to be triggered by the survivors again. This is the first time i've used it in a game, only read about it before now. Is it an exploit? I dunno. I think of it as a technique. With the tank you have to use strategy and this is certainly strategic.
