From what i remember from lifeguard training, the chance of CPR actually working is really quite low, so for her to do it successfully 4 times in a row is a bit... wow

It's so unlikely for it to work though. I have a mate who i used to work with;

Story;

Me and him were on poolside, then the alarm went, radio called and he was my super, so he told me to remain on poolside to watch the crowd, and he ran into the football pitches. Some guy had collapsed, wasn't breathing etc. My mate managed to get him round using CPR, then the guy faded out again. Guy died in my mates arms, really traumatic for him, had to have counseling and all sorts of shit. Sad times.
