I do it. But i do it to try something i think i might like. If i do like it, i go out and buy the physical version - i much prefer having an actual disk than 1's and 0's on my hard drive.

No need to go though the logic again. You apparently can't grasp that copyright infringement doesn't take anything away. Taking something away is the central part of stealing. You can't do without it.

decisions that i made based on situations that were in my life at that time...not the best decisions that could have been made, but i made them none the less.

its not like i continued with that lifestyle, or decisions.
