Okay so I'm playing bf2 with a bunch of guys yesterday on teamspeak. I try to talk and they yell "No no stop" because my mic sounds like "KSSSSSHHHHHKSSSKKHHHHHSSKSKK" or so they say. What's happening...My mic works fine outside of BF2 on TS, it's just when I get in it fucks up..any ideas?
Tell us the model of your headset.

I think it's a problem with your soundcard / driver. try to select the wave driver instead of the direct x driver in the TS options.
Mine would do it also, you cant run VOIP and run TeamSpeak
ok my m8 had this problem...
o you want a solution? o soz dint ask him if i ever remember to il ask him how he sorted it

I used to run teamspeak with BF42 but now my buddies and I use www.skype.com
It is MUCH clearer and does not hurt the gameplay in BF2 one bit! You can conference in up to 9 people at a time if you want.

9 people aint that much for a clan, unless its a small clan.
i tried skype wilst playing fear with my m8 on the other end (its a dam well scary game, i aint playing it alone!) and it was such bad quality of sound for me. i think it was becos i was running a full screen programme but i dont like skype.

Don't use the same button for both TS and VOIP. It can create feedback and people don't need to hear what you say over both channels
my push to talk button is the mouse wheel button. how handy is that?
it was us he was playing with and its not a voip conflict imo, i run ts all the time and i also use voip with no ill effects.
Yeah. TS runs fine, but I can't talk without it gaying up.
I can still talk to them in VOIP though, but it's a bit inconvinient seeing as everyone needs to set up a squad..

Once you're inside Battlefield II, alt-tab and close/reopen TS and connect. Happens to some people with Ventrilo as well (so it's obviously hardware/driver based), and reopening your voip app should 'refresh' and fix the problem.
Well..that will take a while...hmm...well..thanks.
My BF2 alt tabs instantly and I've got a craptastic PC, so I would hope it wouldn't.
Try adjusting your in-game audio. Turn the bar down to like 'whisper' or something. The kraaack they hear is either your sound turned up high in your earphones, playing with mic, or alot of dB's going through; my suggestion is play with the BF2 Audio settings with that bar thingy.
