Do you guys enjoy work or hate it? What do you do? I work at a picture framing company making frames mainly for college diplomas. Not the best of jobs, but it's good for a student and MUCH better than working at McDonald's or some shit.
I get payed for working. I like money more than I like being lazy.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
It varies. Usually I don't mind working. Sometimes my store manager can be a tool. Like this Saturday I have to do the lighting for a show at my school. But I also have a shift scheduled that conflicts with that. Never mind that we get very few customers during the winter (ice cream store), never mind that I've gone to every shift scheduled to me since I started working, they won't let me take one night off. It's not like the supervisor on shift that evening ever does anything anyway. He just fuckin stands there and rings customers up while I have to scoop the ice cream. Other supervisors actually help out.
We had a co-operation procedure (dunno what that means watch Office Space) going on for almost 2 months and 10% (70 peeps) were supposed to get fired. Eventually 48 got fired and 6 unlucky bastards from our onsite got sold to a different company that includes now shittier benefits and such.
Unfortunately our teamleader wasn't one of the 48 fired. Still have to look at her fat ugly face when we arrive at work. We had a survey last year and there was this one funny little question... Probably needless to say, our team is the last one with 9 suckers.
Sad thing one idiot really thinks she's a good teamleader. Otherwise that image would've been hilarious and she prolly would've gotten her fat ass thrown out of the company. But what does the company do after the survey? They reward her with more power over shit n' things worldwide. Basically the only merit is that she has is a really brown tongue and an amazing ability to take all the credit for our work. We had a team thingie last year and we were wondering what to do, get wasted, go bowling or something like that. She made the decision for us and got us tickets to a Village People show because she wanted to see them. Did we want to see Village People? Fuck no. Now I'm lying a bit. She did give us options between V-P and Boney M. What a great human. Must say. At the first fucking opportunity I'm changing to another team over here.

Enjoy it some days hate it others. I work at a Network Hardware MFG doing Operations/Logistics. Really I just manipulate data in our database and stare at spreadsheets all day. Gets kind of confusing every once in a while when I'm really ripped.
