I have a game (Civilization 3) That runs at 800x600.
Needless to say, it looks like shit when its on my 1920x1200.
Is there a way I can get it to play in a window?

To play Civ III in windowed mode, you need to edit the .ini file found in the same directory as the game you're playing. (ie if you're playing Conquests, not base Civ, you go into the Conquest directory and use the conquest.ini file)

You change it so you have these two lines:
KeepRes=1
Video Mode=1024

where 1024 is the resolution you would like the game to be playing in inside of its window.
