I'm in this situation, where I have an album on my computer, but iTunes wont add nor play the tracks. I don't give any sort of message. I need it on my iPod.

I have tried winamp before, it didn't work with me, so this is not an option.

iTunes fails.

Good times.

What happens if you rename them? Get Audacity to encode another copy?

I have tried to rename them from cyrrilic to 'normal'. Wont play.

Encoding it seems to be working.

iTunes I assume reads ID3 tags as well. If it has non-Latin characters, iTunes may crack the sads (though it should at least error or prompt or something, gg Apple, L2makeamediaplayer).

I renamed everything that was written in Cyrrilic.

I've had that problem, if you got the .mp3's from a disc, re-rip them and try it.. If not, download the same .mp3 but don't rename anything of the .mp3.. I don't know why but iTunes doesn't like messed around with ID3 tags..
