Does anyone here re-assign the controls for infantry?
If so... In what ways?
I.e. I have made 'f' prone instead of 'z'.

I reassign all my Jet/Heli controls to my Joystick, and set the View's to the tophat on my joystick, so if I'm in a car, I can still use the tophat to switch.
Outside of that, I'm not sure of any that I can remember.

I have 2 buttons on the left side on my copperhead mouse that i use for crouch and prone, just have to wiggle my thumb to dolphin dive
i invert my mouse for the jets/helios and I have the side buttons on my mouse set for flares and after burner
I have shift as prone cntrl as crouch, g pickup kit, f- pistol, wheel click- knife, space- parachute, top side button (on g9) - run, bottom side button- main weapon it makes it easy to quickly switch to pistol after sniper rifle and i can quickly swich between single shot etc I could never use Z as prone i always would miss it lol
I have changed nearly every ingame key there is.

Fairly similar to Herbal-Abuse...very few of my controls are standard, as the original layout is awful...9 for parachute? How convenient
Vehicle views too, vital for flying or even in tanks, you can watch your back much easier, as it's rare to have anyone else covering you properly

I've only made the spacebar activate parachute when in mid-air. This proves a bit of a problem when playing PR .85. The incendiary grenade is linked to the 9 key, thus everytime I jump over an obstacle, I take out the grenade, probably frightening my squad mates.
As for the mouse, I've made the wheel click activate VoIP, so I don't have to press B.

I have E crouch
Middle mouse to enter/exit vehicles (same since half life), E to spot (one-touch spotting).
rebound every key to prone. Sure I couldn't quit the game but I was teh pwnage.

but it makes heli soloing epic when combined with macros and stuff lawl

I have edited the con file to get parachute on the space bar.
Middle mouse button for defibrillator.
Thumb buttons on the side of the mouse for nightvision goggles and gas mask in SF.
Also, I have the button right of the shift key for prone, in addition to the Y key (German layout), so I don't have to precisely hit the correct key with my pinky finger.

In BF1942 I had the numeric keypad bound to corresponding F-keys (eg. 1 = F1, 2 = F2 etc) so that I had two options for calling stuff, depending on what I was doing with my hands at the time.

Ermmm....
I use:
C= Crouch
Control= Prone
Mouse wheel click= Pistol
Space= Jump + Parachute (controls.con edit)
Mouse buttons 4 + 5= Cockpit and rear chase view... I think 4 is also set up to Ventrilo which may become confusing.
Simon I think your controls have to be about the weirdest I have EVER seen!
Wow... I'm very surprised at all the different combination's. Very interesting.
I use pretty standard setups, however my biggest reassignment is in vehicles, I have 1,2,3 and 4 bound to view change (mainly for jets), I also have backspace bound to parachute.
