Yeah, dj from LA I think. Check out some of his stuff on youtube. Similar deep-house/hip-hop stylings of nujabes, but still his own thing. His music isn't akin to nature as nujabes' is.

New album IS sick. So much better than Soon it Will be Cold Enough. However I can't get over the stupid choral music in the background. It would sound so much better with that removed. Also, Emancipator strikes me as a guy who knows what sounds good but doesn't quote grasp the idea of cohesion and segues. It seems like too many of his compositions are good sounding pieces haphazardly shoved together. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. That being said, the jazz horn sample in 'Bury Them Bones' is absolutely amazing. Anyone know what it's sampled from?
