2 simple questions: Helicopter Reticle and Commanding.

1). Im finding the basic command badge really hard to get, I can only get about 25-ish points (any tips?) in a full-length round by using the commander menu. Is it possible to get points as commander while on the feild of battle? Like healing/killing/resupplying etc, that would make getting 40 points much easier.

1) resupply and heal points dont count as commander points...sorry just try harder

2) i think that is where the gunner has the machine gun sight.

I only just got my basic command badge the other day after ~12 hours commanding. Stick to smaller servers, or servers with less than the maximum capacity so the rounds last longer.

Longer rounds = higher average scores = you're better off, even if you lose.

1. the commander gets points ONLY from the average score on the team and double that if your team wins so play on city maps or on very low capacity servers
2. that circle shows the optimum hover position - if it moves down you are moving up and away from the stationary hover and vice versa

dno what that is, id like to know it's there when you take off/land.. but it disapears in flight...
the gunner sight thing is the bar with a dot in it

Yep, only way to get command points is to have a good team. When you are in the command role you will earn NO points for doing any actions in the game. This includes killing, capping, repairing, rearming, etc. The only points you will get are command points which are given to you whenever somebody on your team scores a point. So to get max points, find a team that scores a lot of points and sit back in a corner somewhere staying out of combat. (now, what gets you max points and what wins the game for your team could be 2 different things though) So in other words... please dont jump in that jet as a commander, its better for both you and the team if you acually command! heh

As for the second one, as was said, its a hover indicator.

The retricle is how stable you are, as in if you are hovering perfectly, it will be in the center of your screen, if you hover even a fraction to the right, it'll fly off to the left. so if u have this on your screen, you are hovering pretty well, and if its in the crosshair, you are exceuting a perfect hover

At which point you can get into the gunner seat and have fun indefinetly.. (Other times you have to be more conscious where you are )

best thing for commanding is 64 player karkand with 16 ppl in it at max command us for the whole game tell it ticks to 0 u get at least a hundred points easy before 2x
