Only if you have an uber-charged PC. Tons of technical problems, and no SLI support. I had to run it in 2000 compatibility.
But it was really fun and despite R* being lazy on the technical side, the gameplay works very well on the PC.

Well I would say get it, but once the story is over there is absolutely shit-all to do on singleplayer.. no way to make money. Taxi missions aern't there anymore, there are no real side missions. DLC is coming out soon but is it really going to be worth it, besides the story??

I've not played the PC version but I imagine the on foot controls are far better in it. And for vehicles, just plug in a 360 controller. You can use both setups at once.
TV's do 24 fps or 30fps depending if it's NTSC or PAL. And you do play your console on TV don't you.FatherTed wrote:

Well Burnout Paradise runs at 60fps on both consoles and looks FAR smoother than any other game on the system. On a normal TV. So I dunno what the deal is.

So I played this game PC today, the controls are a lot better than I thought they would be, the game is a bit more crisper than the console version. I'm on a 9800GT, and I didn't notice any harsh dips in the FPS, game ran at the same speed the console version does (it felt like it, anyways.) I was stuck to "medium" textures and "very high" detail, game looked very nice, I'm sure a GTX280/4870X2 would run it beautifully.
I was thinking of buying a X360 controller for my PC, driving with WASD is weird, but the shooting part is piss easy, since you can free aim with the mouse.
