I have the map editor, but every time I open a file, it says: file not found or something like that

I have the beta version of the EA map editor, and someone sayed that I had to install it a certain way

If you have any other suggestions for map editors, make sure they are an official Editor from an Official site, I don't want to get another virus colony on my computer! lol

Are you trying to load one of the stock bf2 levels in it? If so, extract the contents of the client and server.zip files into the level folder then you can open it. Just remember to backup your level or the game will boot ya whenever that map loads online.

Crap! I got it to get as far as loading and then it says something about a dump file and an error report and it closes, that annoys me

I have many Ideas for Maps, But it says

The Application has generated an exception and will close

Open dump file?
[yes] [no]

Arg! I am POed
