Why is there so much hostility towards CS on this forum?

yea because playing the game 4+ hours a day gives you respect

how the fuck can anybody play bf2 so much? the most i can play is 2 hours at a time and i do that maybe once every 2 months

Yes, because people who have under 20,000 are all nobodies whose opinions don't count for anything, and should take time away from their families/friends/jobs so they can score more and be taken seriously on an internet forum by a bunch of elitist losers.

No not really, it gives me something to write while I'm at work and have nothing to do for 11 hours a day, it's my enjoyment. Gotta watch out for the smileys though and more than 3 bumps in a row (j/k heart_attack), but other than that I can't wait until someone posts something; I'm like Quigmire waiting for the hot chick to come down the sidewalk when someone posts.

Well, I've never complained and I have under 20k points, but I've also played since about a month after luanch. That either means:
A) I suck
or
B) I play games other than BF2 (because they do exist).

And I'm not trying to make fun of anyone who has over 20k points (maybe people with more than 2000 hours played...) I'm just pointing out that not all people who play less complain. Flame away.

i dont think hes saying that people who have less than 20k points dont have an opinion...

just that if youre going to complain about something ingame, you should wait until you have more experience to do so.  the first time i ever died ingame was from artillery...i had no fucking idea what happened...all of a sudden my body flew up 100 feet in the air and there was nothing i could do about it.  i thought it was insanely unbalanced to have a weapon so powerful in the game.

when it comes to people complaining about vehicles or weapons being too powerful, it seems as though all the complainers are people who haven't played the game for very long.  the thing is...they're usually right.  jets ARE powerful, tanks ARE powerful...they just don't know how to effectively counter them yet.  same goes for almost everything ingame.

Oh I know, and I don't think I am lacking in experience at all. I have over 160 hours of playtime and I *think* I know the game pretty well, it's not that hard to learn the game in under 50.

70k+ global doesn't mean very much when your favorite weapon is the grenade launcher.
