The money is huge but Gates has huge money. Certainly he has no obligation to donate it. He isn't even an active part of MS anymore.
What is impressive is the amount of time he spends on his causes. That is something we are all given limited amounts of. So many celebs/wealthy people have no problem donating money. But when it comes to actually getting involved (seriously) they bail.
I think what Gates does is admirable and if that makes me:
