My friend came over, bringing his Vista pc and when he stuck his ethernet cord in my router nothing happened, so I took out the power cord, let it sit for a minute or two, plugged it back in and he his connected to my LAN but has no internet access, obviously I do. A month or two ago he came over and everything worked out just dandy. What steps do I take from here?
Code:
ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
and if it still doesn't work after that:max wrote:

you have to connect to your router's management app and make sure you don't have any access restrictions for mac addresses. either you can turn it off, or you can add his to the list. what's the make/model of your router?
Since the brand name isn't even on it

You probably gave up on LAN gaming and decided to play hide the sausage by now, but:
