The last 2 times I went, it was fucking hell. It was either 100 degrees and sunny or pouring down rain, which then turned in to a fucking mud bath. Not to mention my campsite was more than a mile away from the stages both times. You really have to pace yourself at these things, and if you do, you can have a blast.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
Those festivals are a mixed bag for me. It's a chance to see a lot of good bands across many genres in one weekend, but it really takes a lot out of me. It sucks when you have to pick and choose between bands you like playing at the same time on different stages. Not to mention if you want to get close to the stage for a particular set you have to wait for hours, missing other performances. Add in the ridiculous cost for such sundries as water and food and it becomes more of a life experience that you are glad you went through but unsure if you ever want to do it again as opposed to an all-out awesome event.
I've never been to Bonnaroo but I've been to Coachella and Street Scene a few times, and I imagine they are similar. There are some great acts on that list though.

it was a good time, but i wont ever go again. i dont really do the big crowds thing anymore.
and dont worry about the children that dont know music.
if it doesnt have fallout boy, they are probably not going to know what it is.
and half of em wouldnt know talent if it walked up and smacked em in the face anyway.

FUCK YOU GUYS I FUCKING LOVE FALLOUT BOY
For all we know, Parker, we were probably passing a bowl back and forth.
I said I would never go back either, but I have to since Phish is playing. When I was there in '04, I saw a guy OD on heroin, and I also saw a few used needles on the ground when I was walking around in sandals.

Woo Hoo, we've never heard of these people, so now we're officially retards who don't know talent.
You really need to drop the "I hate young people blah blah blah stuff" I see it in all your posts.Parker wrote:

Never heard of them sorry. Only recognise six or seven bands.

you come into a thread talking shit about the OPs music, and then whine when you get told you are narrow minded.
I don't see any shit talking.

I dont know about shit talking, but you obviously have no idea what your talking about. Almost all of the bands listed are pretty different genre wise, and whats wrong with coheed and cambria master lolGooners wrote:
Maybe we aren't into that genre of music?
