Ok. so today i downloaded the new 1.2 patch for cod5... i was like yay no more rank up, yay new content blahh blahh.
So to cut a short story shorter.... sound does not work at all in game now. i tried my headphones, speakers through sound card, speakers through onboard, speakers/headphones without creative software running. tried restarting computer. tried re-configuring speakers. no luck.
COD does not recognise my speakers... it says "Stereo speakers" where it used to say "5.1 Surround Speakers" (or something like that)
my friend (lawdy_) has also had some trouble with sound now... (he gets sound but only stereo through his 5.1 speakers).
i havent had problems with any other game/program, only cod5 after latest patch....
so has anyone had this problem? know a fix? or have any suggestions?
nazi zombies would be bloody hard without sound. so help asap would be appreciated
