So there I was on Sharaqi minding my own business and suprise suprise I get artillery dropped on my head, but instead of killing me ( or even hurting me ) I just get flung 200 feet in the air without a bit of damage, took a few seconds to work out what had happened , I opened my parachute and landed safely on a roof top..

Most bizzare, has this ever happened to anyone else ?

hahaha, no, never happened to me. You are a lucky bastard, man!
But last night our tank got a direct hit from the arty and died instantly Usually tanks are safe from arty strikes...

and artillery does destroy tanks but it needs a direct hit, which is rare.

You werent near a barrel were you ? It happened to me when a barrel exploded next to me during an Arty strike and i shot up into the air like superman

anyone else have this happen? the "flung in the air with no damage" thing used to happen all the time in 1942 and i would jsut throw my 'chute but never did to be until this latest patch...very rare but still happens to me

It happened to me once. I thought it was just a collision bug, arty shell lands underground, explosion doesn't touch you but you get the force.
