Well, however BF3 turns up, be it BFBC:2 or otherwise, it would be rather nice to at least have the best maps from BF2 in it - Ghost Town, Gulf of Oman, Karkand (but not wake, it's fucking awful). However, I think that asking for all the maps from BF2 is a little too much.

lets just say that most people who played BF2 when it first came out move on to other things. I doubt that any BF game release in the future is going to equal the success of BF2.

in terms of patch 1.5, i have waited for a good year and a half for it and still nothing. EA /DICE knows that a 1.5 patch is not going to get more people back into playing BF2, let alone people going to a game store to pick up a $20.00 of BF2.

I played BF: BC for a month, there are a lot of things that reminds me of BF2 and yes the game is fun to a certain point, but it does not have the punch of BF2. In addition, i wont be playing BFBC long term like i did with BF2.

No need for a remake, just make bc2 64 player on the pc version and I'm good to go.

If we didnt have a stats system we wouldnt have to deal with all the shit that comes with it.

People would play to improve and not for stats, and the game would yet again be brought to another level, as seen in games like CS.

Those fagz don't understand that if they make bf3, they are going to be richest people in the planet.

After they milk a good 4-5 years off of BF 1943 they'll try to cash in on the BF2 franchise again.

BF:BC2 for PC is going to be a download only with not retail and there are (initially) only three maps coming with it.
BF Heroes is also a download-only game, coming with two maps only.

What if they're trying the same "free-game with micropayment" method on BF:BC2 too?

Im not talking about bringing in together two mods, Im just saying that people with passion in it should coop and make a game which will be 100% better than DICE buggy shithole. And whats more important - making an updates and working on them all the time.

AIX is awsms for SP but not that great for multiplayer - and just because those specific developers make good mods doesn't really mean that they would be able to make a "game which will be 100% better than DICE buggy shithole" or provide regular updates like you suggest.
