So far I've thought about the VA2213 but I can't find any reviews on it.
Could get that for around 150€.

How many inches? What sort of resolution? What's your price limit? Would you prefer a high quality one or just the cheapest you can get that won't die on you?

Around 22', 22' being optimal. Resolution between 1680 nad 1920.
100-160€ woulf be great.

Rather not buy a shitty one either to save a few euros. Any ideas?
(anyone know about the monitor I mentioned in OP?)

I don't know anything about that monitor in particular, but I've owned several Viewsonic monitors and they were all very good.  All are still working.  So I recommend the brand.

I got an Acer AL2216W which, the last time I checked, was around $160 USD or so...might want to keep an eye out for that.

Freezer is going to come along and tell you that Acer is shit and not to buy it, but he would be wrong because this monitor works absolutely great. It is 22", low response, and a good contrast ratio. It has a good viewing angle, and overall it's a pretty sharp picture. I'm not sure exactly what you do for office work, but I'd imagine something to do with lots of text? I do a lot of web coding, so I'm working with text editors hours on end and no complaints there.

You could also grab one of the popular LG models or one of the Samsung T series.

Thanks, will look into those.
Anyone know of the budget series of big manufacturers like Samsung and Viewsonic? I understand that the VA models are ViewSonics budget monitors. Anyone know of the quality of those?
