Pretty much every milsim player I've met is a complete moron who thinks speedball markers are for clowns, is completely full of himself, thinks his camo actually helps him, tries to convert people into being a naive idiot like him, etc. etc.
That's not me being a prejudiced asshole, it's just my experience.
I obviously know not every milsimer is like that..
i play milsim, i just don't like playing with assholes. which a lot of them turn out to be and routinely try to put you down for not being to their "standards". but then i get the same from speed ballers, so it goes both ways i guess.-= wrote:

i've tried speed ball, it just didn't fit with me. tactical milsim is where i like to be.

Milsim can be fun at times, sure, no doubt in that, I played scenario for 3 years before I got into the tourney scene.
When I used to play in the SPPL(scenario paintball players league) very few people had the milsim deal going on. I saw no full teams employing it, and teams which placed on the podium all were shooting "airball"(I hate this term, they all power a projectile out the end of a barrel, there are no differences in woodsball and airball guns other than appearnace) guns. My team shot mainly egos and a few droids and such here and there.
I saw relatively few Tippmanns or anything similiar, but why is it that a league geared toward the woodsball type employ airball style equipment?
