I might have a bit of a problem with hoarding stuff in this game. Today, when depositing loot in my Megaton house I accidentally hit square (take all for non-PS3 players) and was surprised when I went into my inventory to see that I was carrying just under 2900 lbs of stuff. And that didn't account for my other locker, which carries gear for creating weapons and other miscellaneous items.

Is anyone else bad about keeping everything in this game?

I don't keep absolutely everything
I make one Rock-It-Launcher and then sell any extra parts along with all other junk that isn't used for weapons for caps until I get plenty of caps even though they are about as useful as gold in Oblivion. Then I don't ever worry about how many caps I have, and only pick up items if they serve some other purpose than selling it when I'm out on my adventures.

Weapon is called the "Auto Axe" and will be available with the "Red Raider Armor" shown in March's DLC entitled "The Pitt".

I only keep createable weapon components, good weapons(not the stupid pistols) and power armors.

None of it is really worthless stuff, at least I don't think so. I have a lot of stuff that is kept to repair primary equipment like combat shotguns, hunting rifles, combat armor, etc. I also have most of the unique weapons and armor and a fully repaired version of just about every gun and armor in the game stored, even though I've never used most of them.

After thinking about it, I might have taken the surroundings of the game a bit too seriously and stockpiled everything possible like one might if a nuclear war broke out and everything was in ruins.

Hopefully you'll be able to return to The Pitt and kick-ass as well as pilfer more of the new weapons.

Even better would be if the enemies in the normal game would use them after you complete the quests there.

I'd imagine you'll be able to...it's not like it's a simulation or anything non-repeatable. It's a whole new location.

i did that once. thank god for autosaves.

Yeah but Bethesda might do some gay shit like cause the train that takes you there to explode after the quest is done. But I feel they likely have learned their lesson and it's not like a mod won't be able to fix that

Meh, I doubt it. Although actually, that could be why it's delayed a month...they learned from Operation: Anchorage and are working off of it and the user/critic responses.

Hopefully better DPS than the Shishkebab...or maybe even better would be that it'd be better than the shishkebab because of some special ability...like bleeding damage or something.

I just read somewhere that Fallout III contains the entire text of Milton's Paradise Lost in-game, and reading it increases character's 'Speech' stats.

This game just gained 1,000 'Cool Points' from me.

Paradise Lost is one of the most things ever conceived by human art.

Games awesome so far, but am i the only one whos having a bitch of a time killing anything? Started off with that pistol and it takes about 5 clips and 2 stimpaks to kill a fucking dog..

Are you using VATS? And what's your difficulty level at?

Yes im using VATS, normally takes care of the first ghoul or raider hopefully, but then im left with about 3 more and the guns either just tickle them, or shoot in an entirely different direction, and sneaking doesn't bloody help, they seem me from a mile away /sigh
