I recently started experiencing the following problem:  A few minutes, sometimes even seconds into a game, my system completely reboots.  I have an Intel 2.88 processor, 2 gigs of ram, an ATI Radeon 9700 video card and Creative Platinum Z2 sound card. All drivers are up to date.  All windows updates are installed.  I do not have a virus problem.  Not sure what other info migt be relevant.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be much aprpeciated!

Not just CTD?  Start with the last modification to your system and work backwards, what did you do, install, modify, anything.  I know I was messing with KillItAll and accidently killed a system task I shouldn't have, and Java started crashing my browser.  Need more info if anyone is going to help.

Go into your control panel, open the system tool and go to the advanced tab. Under the 'startup and recovery' tab click on settings, and disable automatic restarting. That won't stop your computer from crashing, but it should display a blue screen instead of just restarting. When you get a bluescreen, write down the error and memory address (string of numbers/letters) and look the error up on microsoft's website. If the problem is being caused by a driver, it should tell you which one in the bluescreen.
