- Machine Head
- NIN (Knebworth only, bah)

I just queued for 1h15min and the fucker seems to be sold out now. I didn't leave without three of these, though:

Conditions are perfect. The gf lives just a few blocks away from the venue so no camping or smelling like yesterdays underwear for me.

Nah. Not really. Seen Metallica already and the rest don't really interest me. My colleauge got a ticket though. He was up early at Iso Omena in Espoo waiting to get his ticket to bliss. He's a real heavy-metal junkie.

This festival's lineup is almost as shitty as Reading 2009's.

Since when did festival organisers lapse into a year-long coma and then think it a really good idea to book the big bands of last year?

The only band I'd see at Sonisphere would be Mastodon. Where's ISIS? Metallica? The only two groups of people that still like Metallica are 13 year olds that somehow see their new shit as canonical, and oldies that are actually old enough to appreciate their true 'decent' albums. Everything they have done in the last 10 years is trash-- they fit in nicely with their nu-metal pals Linkin Park.
