Aren't you already paying extra?
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Freezer, we get it, you're a highly-unique anti-Apple fanboy that cannot afford to pay for Apple products.

Go away now, you're like a bad smell.

I'm perfectly happy with my overpriced Apple iPod, my overpriced Logitech peripherals, my overpriced Nvidia cards, my overpriced Sony Vaio, my overpriced materialist life. Every company adds profit margins to their products based on both tangible and intangible benefits/selling points, if your wallet doesn't stretch or doesn't justify Apple products... that's fine. We got that several months ago. It doesn't make you look cool, go away fatty, cool yuppie Apple products aren't made for the awkward social reject stereotype.

You wouldn't say that if he wasn't arguing for your precious iPods.

No, no, no. I've said multiple times in the Tech Forums that an iPod isn't "precious" to me at all. It's an affordable, average-quality mp3 player for average-quality digital music. In short, to deftly sidestep this endless and pointless bandwagon-debate, I am definitely not pro-Apple or a "precious" fanboy; I spend most of my time calling out people like Kyle for being the Apple-Fan stereotype, trust me I do not fall into that category. I buy things based on their price and their functionality. The iPod suits me fine in that respect where it seemingly doesn't for you.

My point is no one cares about your general opinion of the product/brand. Even your most beloved battery-geek company will send out defective or unreliable units every now and then- it's an inevitability, shit happens. If 'x' small complication isn't covered under the actual legal warranty, well I'm sure some store staff will be more sympathetic and understanding if he keeps on trying.

And that comeback was hideous, honestly.

Well actually, disappointment itself has a transient quality, so really it's more like you're just... a failure.

Of course, you copy-pasted a post that I directed at one of your genuinely-shit-fail-try-too-hard posts.

I'm asking you why are you even trying to reinitiate that argument, you will lose everytime.

But you might start thinking when about every fifth unit or so is defective. No matter how good and free support you get, it's still a hassle.

Let's drop this for this thread now, I don't wanna get banned again.
