hi,
i have a x-fi sound card and a thermaltake soprano rs case with front mounted audio ports and mic, my question is this, is it possible to connect the ports to the sound card with the internal cable or not.

thanks

Depends on the sound card. Go take a look.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Freezer means if the cables can connect into the card, then yes. If not, motherboard it is.

Yeah, it's possible, but you need to make an adapter. The only other way is to buy the entire front panel kit from Creative, some $100+.
