DebonairXcel its good you can challenge yourself like that, most players dont they jsut care about winning.

While I wont change teams to get teh better jet, if Im USA on that map I will usually tkae a chopper or go land bashing. So Im guilty to some extent aswell.

I enjoy flying, jump in a jet when I can, yesterday I was playing wake on the USMC side and we took the airfield so I had no competion. but in the round before the j-10 would pop up everywhere, even when im flying just under 700, i'd here the lock, switch views and wait till he fired missiles, dropped flares and even then i still got blown up 2 seconds after having lock, I rolled 180 and pressed down and it still hit me.

Next time I got up there, I use 6 missiles, not hitting him once then blew him out the sky with the cannon when he went to re-arm.

The J-10 is far more better than the f-15's and f-35's.

They turn like tanks (an old football/soccer saying) and are just easy prey for AA and J-10s

And while we're bitching about plane balance, I'd like to say that the flares still suck against AtA missiles. Usually I like to get behind someone, lock, fire off 1 AA missile to see whether or not they have flares available before tossing 1+ more missiles for the kill. However, lately it seems like some AtA missiles just completely ignore the flares and go straight at the target anyways. Of course, this doesn't happen against the J-10, it's flares seem to actually work.

Obviously planes still have a ways to go before things are balanced in the air. As is, I can only hope for noob pilots or maps like Oman where I can keep the aircraft grounded and not have to worry about inferior aircraft like the F-35. I always play both sides on every map, so 50% of the time I'm using some inferior plane bound to be killed by an equally skilled or at least moderately skilled pilot. But on maps like Dalian Plant, it's kind of hopeless flying on the USMC side. Might as well just spend those rounds in the Cobra.

ive killed one or two j10s with an f35 and countless f35s with a j10
theres something wrong especially when the usmc pilot you owned 5 times from the last round is now owning u before you can even know hes there

the j-10 and eurofighter are 17% more manourverable than most other fighters so they can escape better than others, like the f-35 which is the worst for manourverability on bf2

I find that hard to believe. The EuroFighter seems to be very unresponsive in the turns. It doesn't feel stable while flying in a straight line, but that doesn't make it more "manueverable." Please cite your source that the EuroFighter is "17% more manourverable than most other fighters."

ive noticed the same thing with opposing J-10 pilots. i come up behind them, lock, switch, and relock...then shoot...they dont do anything spectacular, but the missiles still miss. then the same pilot comes back at me and i try everything under the rainbow and still get blown out of the sky.lol

Exactly. It's almost damn near impossible to take down the Eurofighter. I've been right behind the damn thing and got tired of the missles missing, so I unloaded all six. THEY ALL MISSED! This was on more than one occasion. And EU missles seem to have a higher hit ratio. I've flown by a Havoc for a glimps of a second and fired 2. It killed the Havoc even though I almosted passed them and I wasn't cented on them at all. Crazy...

I use to think the Mig would own the Eurofighter because it flyed weird, but now I know the Eurofighter will own you.
