BF2S Forums What unlock?

I think all the guns are even, the ak101 is better than g36e because its more powerful and the fact you have to know how to shoot (sort of) to get lots of kills with it, g36e is the most noob friendly just because noobs will probably hold down the trigger with most guns, but with g36e you cant you have to fire in burst and its super accurate and fast so anyone can use it, it sort of defies the BF2 physics where with any other gun you have to learn the game and where to shoot etc.
Apart from the g36e I think theyre all fair its just preference like others say, e.g for assault you could either have an accurate m16, or slightly less accurate but more powerful g3- I'm just stating the obvious really dont even know why im posting this lol

I agree much more with this manner of thinking.  I like the G36e, but not nearly enough to use it exclusively.  Once enemies move in closer and accuracy is less important, I'll take the raw power and full auto function of the 101 any day.


Unlocks provide a way to further specialize your kit given whatever situation you are in.

I never said people can't use what guns they want. I clearly said that it doesn't take skill to use unlocks, not that people shouldn't. If you read deeper into the post I was basically referring to the ones that are more powerful than the stock ones (G36E vs M16) not SVD vs L9.

Please start reading posts carefully before replying and get off my dick.

It takes as much skill to use a F2000 or DAO 12 as it does the stock shit, I'e not much. Click click click, wow skill
