I drink so much chai I thought I would document my process of making it and share with you guys. So, I hope you like my little guide, and I hope you get a great cup of hot frothy chai!
Step 1
First, you gotta start with great chai. I recommend anything organic or something that has all the goodies in it, (cardamom, ginger root, chicory root, nutmeg, cloves, star anise, black tea...)

Step 2
I mix about 80% whole milk, and 20% filtered drinking water in a 16oz mug. This gets a nice froth in the end, which we'll get to.

Step 3
Poor the milk and water into a sauce pan, or glass container over the stove top. Don't you ever think of microwaving it. EVER!
Step 4
Once the milk starts to get warm, drop in your choice of tea, make sure to cut off the tag, we wont be needing it.

Step 5
Stir your milk and tea for awhile while pressing the tea bag up against the side to push out the herbs. Add a tablespoon of honey or sweetener of your choice.

Step 6
After it has been steeping for 4-5 minutes, you can remove the tea bag and toss it, or put it in your mug for added flavor. Turn off the stove.

Step 7
Here is the most important step. Take a hand held blender and froth up the tea.

The more you blend, the foamier it gets!

Step 8
After you're satisfied with blending, pour yourself a cup!

Step 9
Enjoy your tea!
Note, if you don't have a hand held blender, get one! If not, you can pour your tea into a standard blender, and you should be able to froth it up as well. I haven't tried, so I can't guarantee it'll work.
Hope you enjoyed this little guide, and your tea!
Cheers!
