yeah, TPB has a huge selection of torrents and you can usually find what you are looking for. My speeds are usually around 100KB/s for meh torrents and around 800KB/s with torrents
Very true. The quality of tags on TPB are shocking and make me angry whenever I d/l something from there, as I usually spend a while fixing it and making it perfect. With what.cd, on the other hand, everything is just... perfect straight away.Uzique wrote:
Problem with public-trackers is that music rips are often low-quality, there's a pathetic choice, and the tags/reliability is tosh.
TPB is good enough though for apps and (most) movies.
I'm not on waffles (unfortunately... hint hint ), but what.cd is easier to get invites to tbh, either you get to power user (not too hard given some time, effort, and ratio/uploadwhoring) or donateUzique wrote:
Invites to Waffles.fm/What.cd swing around about once every 3-4 months, typically lasts about 2-3 days, and only the top-profile/bigtime uploaders get the privilege of giving away an invite. Nowadays Waffles has an awesome points system though (you earn points by basically downloading/uploading/posting on forums/being a good community member) and you can purchase a one-time invite for 'x' number of these points. It's a pretty high and exclusive number though... so again, only the high-profile and actually contributing members get the opportunity to use it.
In short: Good luck, unless you know a real active don on the inside, you'll never get an invite .

Usenet is a service rather than a site.Im_Dooomed wrote:

How do I get in?what.cd wrote:
You've stumbled upon a door where your mind is the key. There are none who will lend you guidance; these trials are yours to conquer alone. Entering here will take more than mere logic and strategy, but the criteria are just as hidden as what they reveal. Find yourself, and you will find the very thing hidden behind this page. Beyond here is something like a utopia - beyond here is What.CD.
This is a mirage.
