I'm sorry, but... The Jonas Brothers?
Dude, it's awesome! Get with the times!FFLink13 wrote:

(I don't like TJB, but his cover of it is actually pretty sweet)
The Jonas Brothers suck.
His drumming isn't great, the hell. He's playing pop covers, where's the great feat? Any drummer that plays live with these bands has to do more or less the same thing, minus improvisation and covering of other parts...
Best drummer in the world right now.

He did Breaking Benjamin respect
Uber drum solos don't really do it for me tbh. I'd much rather see a regular song played in an interesting and technical manner. Which Cobus does. Have a look through his other videos, he's extremely good. I'm not saying he's the best drummer in the world by any means.Uzique wrote:

EDIT: Oh and I hate the Jonas Brothers. They appear to be the doucheiest (sp?) family on the planet.

I didn't find that really amazing... He's just able to do some cool tricks while playing a pretty bad song..Uzique wrote:

Watch some of his other videos, that one was a funk-jam, obviously not going to be the most technical or demanding. He genuinely is one of the best and most technically-adept drummers in the world right now, at all styles and in every technique. Some of his jazz/improv stuff on YouTube is absolutely amazing. Besides, it beats Jonas Brothers coversJebus wrote:

Edit: Besides, you give 'respect' to a drummer for playing paint-by-numbers teenrock aka Breaking Benjamin? Holy shit, for a minute I thought I was responding to someone that actually plays drums and knows what they're talking about. Even that funk jam demands way more skill in timing and technique than BB.

Even though that was probably made insultingly, I take that as the ultimate compliment... ty ty.

The best drummer alive today is Billy Cohbam. He is past his prime, but still amazing.
I was lucky enough to play drums in his support band in Dublin last year.

But I really couldn't get all that into that video.
It seemed a lot about speed, I'm more into rhythmic solos that you can more or less tap your foot to
Im no musician but you should see how's my dexterity in bed, and no, not talking about fapping, so eat your inb4Hope_is_lost117 wrote:

On topic, that's a great drummer, not the greatest but def good!
Wait, what? Where did I say that he has more skill or technique than Thomas?Uzique wrote:

Since when can't you respect artists for drumming a rather unknown song? (BB probably is known in US/USA/ w/e but in my city I'm the only one who has ever heard of them..) You don't have to drum the hardest song in the world to gain my respect lol, a simple song, played perfectly and innovative is what I like
