Both are nice!  The red one is manual which in my opinion is better...  But it's more money and it depends on your budget.

But srsly buy the one YOU like, not the one other people like, it's the best advice i can give you!

Ya thanks.

I like both, as i said im leaning towards the auto abit because i think a manual in the city might get abit annoying.

as for budget i can go as high as about $15,000 (but cheaper means i can spend the extra on other things )

The red one coz it's done less mileage and doesn't cost that much more

The white one is like a wanna-be pimp car or something. The red one is better. Less miles and it's manual.

Forget povo pack BA's and get yourself an XR6, But if you have to choose from either of those, go for the red one, a manual one of those will hardly depreciate. And not to mention how rubbish the 4 speed auto in the base models are.

Edit: you say you have $15,000 to spend? Then forget BA's and get yourself an E series. About 1/3 of the price of the BA for an immaculate one and you can spend the rest modifying it. A worked E series will easily rape BA's

would you be able to post an example?

also i wanted a XR6... but the only XR6's in that price range are either very beaten up or too old/used for my liking

The red one. The other one just screams RICERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

the manual (red)l, also has slightly smaller tire size which save you a bit when buying new tires

Is that near the concrete place and the Artillery Supply depot?

Also, Id say first. The white one looks nice, plus its auto.

do you have a preference on style? (sedan, wagon, hatch) or what you want it for?  (performance, luxury, long range etc) and what kind of engine, 4, 6, 8?

do you want to stand out? or just a regular family car?

Well the first problem with both cars is they are fords, so are guaranteed to explode, kill you your family and everything and everyone you have ever cared about.

Need a decent boot space (size of a falcon sedan would do but some hatches wouldnt), price range 10,000-15,000, preferably something that looks good (but not too wankerish), mainly a good solid car that will last me a while and i wont have to spend a fortune on parts (like subaru's etc)

as for engine, 4, 6 really... 8 seems alittle unesssesary and fuel consumption alittle high. 4 mabye, it depends on car. 6 seems to be good for my needs.

in total my family has owned about 6 fords, my grandad used to collect ford GT's. we have never had a single ford breakdown on us, never had to do any repairs (obviously except the usual servicing etc) so i cant see any reason not to buy a ford. parts for subaru's are expensive, mitsubishi's are decent (was thinking of a lancer) but 2nd hand lancers have usually had the crap beaten out of them.
