I can't connect to the internet when plugged into it, but I can when I plug into the other one...

Background info: My plan was to connect my server to the internet and my PC to my server, and merge the connetions so the PC got internets as well. Atm, PC reads it as a network with "Limited Connectivity", and my Server doesn't recognize anything.

Is it at all possible, or am I trying something that can't be done?

(Both are running Windows 7)

edit - oh, and the mobo is a DFi Lanparty nF4.

Bridging in Windows always has been(and probably always will be) a hit and miss,

It tends to decide whether it works on your location, the date, the time, the weather, how many girls you've kissed and the like.

But yeah, somewhere in the network settings, there should be a thing that says "Share the internet from this connection" not sure exactly where but it's there.

You're running a beta MS OS and are expecting somewhat advanced networking to function. You fool.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

You foolish fool! You have no idea of the repercussions of your actions!

oh lol, I forgot to install drivers /facedesk.

Everything works as expected now, PC and Server both show the connection as local only. Now, bridging them... I can't figure out how to do this, it's not like Vista D:

Run a VM downloading all the porn off of KaZaa for epic virus hoarding?

Heh, that concept is hilarious. A 100 Mb line only uses half the wires in a Cat5 cable, you only use all 8 in a Gb line and even 10 Gb can be run over a Cat6. Two NICs for In/Out is a gimmick.
