In game my mouse sensitivity works fine for everything apart from the menu where you select kits/spawn and when using TV missiles in helo, then for some reason it goes so sensative its unusable almost, I have to avoid gunning in AT helo's ATM, I was never anything special at it but now it just can't be done. It only ever happens in those 2 situations for everything else its fine.

These issue's only started when I switched to a Razor Copperhead mouse from a standard microsoft one.

Has anyone had a issue like this or know of a possible solution??.

I know I posted this question age's ago(easy a year ago), but I've started playing bf2 again and I didn't want to drag up a relic of a thread, and I hope that someone will have a new idea how to resolve this.

Im not sure what youre trying to say, is the mouse too sensitive when you're in vehicles?

Options>controls>land/aircraft>sensitivity

Buttons on the right side of the Copperhead are on default for On-The-Fly_Sensitivity which means every time you press them (accidentally I presume in your case) they will reduce or increase your mouse sensitivity depends on which button you press for example the right upper button increases your sensitivity. Go in you Copperhead control panel and configure the buttons so they do nothing (button off). Hope this helps.

Its not me catching the buttons on the side of the mouse, if that was the problem everything would be effected, wouldn't it?? as it stands nothing else is effected.

Im not taking the p*ss here it just the only way I can explain it.

On the kit/spawn select - Its all fine until I get to that screen, I struugle with a mouse that ubber sensitive to pick a kit and spawn point as soon as I spawn everythings fine, until I die and try to change kit/spawn.(this issue seems to come and go now, weirdly)

In the helo - Flying and firing the gun is fine, as soon as I right click to the TV missile the mouse sensiviety seems to sky rockets, making it impossible to do anything with the missile, the white cross is flying all over wildly as you do relativly tiny imputs, as soon as a right click out the TV missile it's fine.

In all other situation/vehicles/weapons its fine. I can live with the select screen problems but I'd like to solve the TV missile issue.

I've tried reinstalling tha game and the mouse drivers, with no effect. It's weird as friends(and im sure some of you guys) use the copperhead with no issue at all.

Quoting a post of mine from some other forums:

Hi,

.con editing will do. Go to My documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles and open up the folder of your account (you can find it by taking a look at the profile.con inside). Open the file named "controls.con" with notepad and add "ControlMap.mouseSensitivity 0.3" (value can be changed of course) at the end of the "ControlMap.create defaultGameControlMap" section. When using standard controls this should be right below the line "ControlMap.addKeyToTriggerMapping c_GIVoipPushToTalk IDFKeyboard IDKey_B 0 0".
