I just got fucked.

I'm paying 163$ per months for my car insurance, so yesterday I call another company, the lady tells me it's gonna cost me 124$ per months for exactly the same thing! I'm like nice, imma cancel my other one and go with this one. So this is what I do 2day, i call them, cancel everything, re-call the other company, after talking, taking my bank account number and all my information. She tells me oh wait... I see something in your folder, imma call you back in 5 min. She calls back, and she tells me, oh the price we gave you was not right, we saw that you had an accident on may 2007... Im like ummmmm... yes, okay so the price will be.... 160$ per month.

3 fkin dollar less than what i was paying! and my other contract was over in 2 months, so mbay the price would of go down more then fkin 3 dollars if i fkin waited!

There's no written quote, they can change it anytime. If you forget to mention it could even be taken as a way to hide stuff from the pass. You can become un-insurable. (funny word) Usually it will not but if you would have a major sinister on your own it can be pretty bad trying to find an insurance company after omitting to declare an incident.

Seriously, Doura, kick up shit. Chances are they've recorded the conversation and if she quoted you that price I'm kinda sure they have to sell it to you at that price. Similar thing happened to my dad, but not regarding insurance.. He phoned up complaining about the internet being super slow, and the guy said he could get it upgraded for free, and to call back at some point.. He phoned back and they said they couldn't do it, but he kicked up stink, and talked to the manager, who said he'll listen to the recording, and if the guy indeed says that they could upgrade him for free they'd do it, and they did.
