Current Specs:
E4400 @ 3.11GHz
Gigabyte DS4 SLI
460W Zalman PSU
9600GT
2GB OCZ Platinum 800MHz
F7P
Abit IP35 Pro XE and Intel E5200
Deals on on OCuK, making both just £120... Very tempting, really... As I've wanted a better processor for ages, as this one gets kinda toasty, and my current MoBo is limiting it's Overclocking capabilities.
Reviews on the MoBo seem pretty good.
Reviews on the CPU on that same MoBo say it goes beyond 3.5GHz.
I know Abit have kinda finished, but support apprently still exists.
And I consider these "temporary" upgrades, as I will be saving for a bad-ass build when I can (Which won't be until I've got a car and stuff sorted, and a holiday somewhere, which means that this "Temporary" stuff could last me a while).
So do you think it's all worth it? Or should I stick with what I have and just keep my money?
If it was P45, I would have bought it already, but I'm not sure if P35 is worth going to...
Another thing, I don't mind having spare computer parts. I can build more machines and just sell them on, then.
