only thing that sux is that u dont get as many points
xcuse the lame typing, im eating a chipotle burrito
another reason why I play BF2:Special Forces
I go sucidal when up vs this sitiation, usually less vehicles. I drive my buggy / jeep right into the middle of them, jump out n chuck mines (as engineer) all around. If a tank panics and shoots the main cannon at me he has a chance of FF, so usally tanks will move a little bit whilst im hopping chucking mnines. Yes you have 7 engineers there who could remove them but to me it only takes one vehicle to trigger a mine to make it worth while.
If I dont regestier a kill what have I lost? I dont think I would of driven around them anyway without getting blasted.

LOL nice screenys
lol, you would NEVER have come 50m away from us before being completely shot to pieces.1927 wrote:

just a small note....why the fuck posting something about a SF map in BF2 chatter in place of the SF chatter section?

I respect what you say "armin" however this is a tactic I use (as described in an engineer guide thread). I wasn't taking a wild guess, it actually works providing I dont get hit 1st. I happen to be a cracking driver of jeeps n buggys and am confident I could pull it off as I do on a smaller scale eg 2 apcs, 1 tank, 1 buggy.
Decoys would get me close enough to you no probs, tanks are powerful as we know however their not that quick at turning.
Im not making out I would get out alive infact complete opposite Im expecting to die.

I still doubt it, 5 tanks all pointing in your direction. I happen to be an excellent tank shooter, I hit helicopters all the time and other tanks at 500m+ distance. It's just about predicting and aiming ahead.1927 wrote:

But you could probably pull it off with two tanks or apcs or something, if the tank drivers are a bit n00b.
You turn a corner and you see that coming at you...you know you're 100% screwed.armin wrote:

1 Tank: You say...Okay, I can deal with this not a problem.
2 Tanks: You say...Okay, This is going to be a challange but it's still possible to kill them off.
3 Tanks: You say...I need backup here now!! Still managable with back up though.
4 Tanks: You say...I need to go and get a plane pronto.
5 Tanks + 5 Engineers: You say...Rest In Peace everyone.

This is a EF map not SF. It is technically a part of BF2 not SF*ToRRo*cT| wrote:

Great pics. They remind me of some great DC screenshots I had from El Alamein and Gazala.
As for the most effective tactic to ruin their day: Chopper pilot/Squad Leader about 400-500 altitude...airborne paratroopers...mines and C4 from the sky...pissed off tanks.
