Good match, Lennon was brilliant throughout.
I even got a cramp watching it though
Spurs were always going to lose in penalties though...

Yeah Lennon was ok, he is a one trick pony tho and that won't win teams anything. I thought we (Man U) gave the ball away too easy at times and really didn't have enough shots on goal. But suprisingly, we was the team that came closest to scoring and the team who looked like scoring throughout.
Bad week for the Yids tho all in all, i do have a soft spot for Tottenham. I've seen a few games at WHL and i enjoyed them.
Foster played a brilliant game, It would've made my week if Evra had scored near the whistle though. I fucking love Evra.
Giggs set the example though.

Yes it was a penalty and l laughed my tits off when he got a yellow card for it. At the end of the day what goes around comes around! He has a reputation for diving and it finaly caught up with him. Fan bloody tastic!Kptk92 wrote:

Spurs played well but it pisses me off how they play like that but can't seem to have the passion to play like that for every game. The difference between Spurs and United was that United play like that all the time, and so they're more composed/experienced etc.. and know how to pace themselves, Spurs on the other hand, basically aren't.
I hate it when I see underdog teams suddenly pull off awesome performances out of nowhere because it shows that the fucking players can compete with the best it's just that they only choose when they feel like and that's the difference between them and the top teams, the top teams play every game like it's a cup final and the lesser teams just don't.

United played gash, that was a sub par performance for us.Mekstizzle wrote:

Cracking goal by Whelan, and me being the eternal pessimist that I am, I thought it was all over, even when we got it back to 2-1 but we did the business and got a vital and frankly unexpected point.
Now we just need to get all 3 on Wednesday against Bolton, I'll be screaming the boys on all the way down at the Brit!!!!
I tell you who Spurs miss. STEED Malbranque.
To the tune of Que Sera
Steed Malbranque Malbranque
He playes on the left, the right
He makes your midfield look shite
