DVD Decrypter

rip to ISO file, and you have as high quality as possible with one file (it's pretty much 100% quality).

Just make sure you set it to rip to a 8.7GB DVD and not a smaller, single DVD ISO.

But yea, I use DVD Decrypter and I've yet to experience any loss in quality. I personally prefer DVD Fab Platinum, though. That program is really powerful. DVD Decrypter couldn't break copy protection on a DVD I rented, but Fab did it without missing a beat. You have to pay for it, though. Only downer, but I would def recommend it.

yup, it's what i used to use. but it often can't read encrypted discs.

Use DVDFab Platinum. It'll do anything.

After you copy with DVD5 (fits on one DVD instead of being 8+ GB like DVD9), write an image with either InfraRecorder or ImgBurn and burn with ImgBurn.
