I was reading an Aviater guide, which can be found here and it says this:

2. Your co-pilot can wreak havoc with the laser guided missile.
And I find this intruiging because I do not believe there are 2-seating planes in the game. Helicopters, yes, but planes? So are there 2-seat planes?

Yes, there's the Su-34 (MEC 2-Seater), F-15 (USMC 2-Seater), There's also a Chinese 2-Seater but i forgot the name.  They're found on different maps, of different sizes. Someone could elaborate on this if they want to.

Anyone know what map? I want my basic aviator and since I can't fly for crap I really don't feel like making my team lose to just get a badge.

If you have Euro Force, then there is one for each team on Taraba Quarry. Gulf of Oman has a SU-34 for the MEC and I think there is on on Operation Clean Sweep. And Daqing Oilfields. There are probably more, can't remember any one else right now.

You became a SGT before learning about this? Please read the Wiki, found in the link at the top of the page... Duffry has a great guide for learning how to use the LGM properly. If your going to take the strongest weapon seat on the map; I would like to know that you will use the power effectively.

LGM is the master of the one shot kill. Personally, I find it easier than the TV missile to use (assuming you have a real pilot).

There are always 2-seater bombers on Operation Clean Sweep.

The laser guided missile operates by the copilot gaining a lock, firing, and keeping the crosshair on his target (for optimum accuracy). Or he can fire from the hip without a lock, and guide the missile to his target with the cursor. This is more difficult, as every time the pilot jinks in one direction or another, the guidance camera follows.

One laser-guided shot can take out enemy assets with a direct hit, though you cannot achieve a lock on them.

I do remember that! Good times indeed.

Well, I got into the jet on Operation Clean Sweep and got the gunner seat and since I had quite a competent pilot I got a few kills with the TV missle, but not too many, but at least I got my badge without the team losing.

The Chinese 2-Seater is the Su-30 if I'm not mistaken.

I do, but i found out that I'm no good at aviating so I leave that to the aces. I don't even go for planes.

Operation cleansweep is an awsome map to b the LGM. its so open that tanks have no chance, just as long as the pilot notices that a bomber is mean for bombing, and not for dogfights

Hi, your clan and site looks nice and professinial. If you are recruiting anybody under 18 (even if I have to sponsored by an admin or something) please PM me.

Back on topic, the bombers I personally think are hard to use as co-pilot. Usually I get locked on to a target, but then the plane is flying so fast I can't get a get lock on for a second.

You need to be on teamspeak, or in a squad with your pilot, and communicate over voip a lot. The pilot may not even realize that he has a copilot, or, that you need him to be your eyes.

My story: Since reading the wiki guide on the LGM, and working with a pilot (who is still pretty new to flying well himself), I have seen my flying K/D ratio go from 0.02 to a 0.93, that is 80 kills using almost entirely the LGM in the past week! Not huge, but my accuracy is about 94%, so it will keep growing as long as I have good / cooperative pilots.
[edit] I forgot to mention, my deaths are down to approx 5 per round, so my flying rounds have K/D ratios of 17:1 [/edit]

Before that, I would pilot just because no one else would (and didn't help one bit )
