I had a BT Voyager 2110, served me well but then some problems arised and maybe I broke it trying to fix it, all I know is that the internet works with this old USB Broaband modem I'm using and it wasn't with the other one. And then the other one ended up even more fucked up and it doesn't even turn on properly now. Long story short, someone recommend me a good wireless modem/router that's not too expensive.

I'm leaning towards just getting the same old 2110 again but that's about 2 years old now, there's probably better shit out there in 2008/2009.

What say you, bf2s?

Get some modem from your ISP, and a separate WLAN router, like a WRT54G.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Mek: ignore Freezers suggestion - BT won't give you "some modem".

Here's what I use:

It rocks.

You can get them at Dabs or amazon and I've seen them in places like PCWorld or Maplins too - should cost around £50.
