Why was it memorable? I was getting owned on Sunday (my regular mouse was recharging, and I never noticed how big a difference the higher resolution mattered till then! )

I have been playing more Gulf lately... trying to get better with the choppers /aircraft.

I played on there a couple days ago and flew against a SunTzu.  He was flying an F-35 with me in a Mig.  Sound familiar?

I'm sorry if I don't remember your killing me, I have played a crapload in the past week, and it has happened more often than I can remember!

It would figure though, I was playing alot of jets/helis the past week. If I was getting owned too badly, I would have switched to transports to capture flags quickly and help my team.

Normally I only fly if there is no one else wanting to. I don't want to ground a good pilot, who could help my team.

It's not a hack, its Physics because the bow is up out of the water. It DOES make the boat go very fast. It is HARD to get the boat to stay up and not flip backwards. It takes SKILL to do this. Be in awe when you see someone do it and don't be such a whiner.

It seems to be an intentional easter egg put in by dice. Why else put the sunken plane with the tail sticking out right near the spawn point for the boats?

I know what M1-Lightning is on about, I get it all the time when Im Co-Pilot in SU-34 or something.
Im glad someone else mentioned it actually I thought I was just going daft.
Main map I see that on is Cleansweep, its like from a distance theres nothing, then you just see the 2 white trails from the back of the RIB draw really fast and a boat just appears at the end of them.

Hey wooly. I think what we see up in the air is different than this boat angle hydrafoil trick. The extremely long wake behind the rib that is almost as long as the island on Cleansweep that we see in jets and choppers is a graphical error. It dissapears when you find the boat right? It does for me and the boats is always going normal spped but the wake makes it appear to be instant super sonic travel across the water. I see these long wakes all the time but I've yet to see a rib boat I can't catch with a chopper.

*Edit* I tried the boat trick and it does increase the speed. What I orginally thought was Teflon's wake image from the boat is what I see which is totally different. I have my video settings set different from most and it often helps me to find boats while in a jet.

I see insanely long wakes all the time. It happens often when you aren't watching them, and your computer forgets to refresh their location and fadepoint.

I've Seen The Wake Long After A Boat As Past. Just Thought It Was Some Sort Of Lag Spike. Or It Happens When A Round Ends. Will Have To Try This In Sp For Sure For Some Kicks

I saw it last night in Wake.
I was on foot and then saw a speedboat doing at least 100mph in a wheelie. This could get around the island in no time at all. I tried to do it against the carrier but with no success yet.
I will deelte my other thread regarding this subject . Thanks

It's not a cheat or hax. Me and some friends did this when we're shooting a movie.

Note, we did this is on a private unranked server, when we did our movie. The movie has not yet been released.

EDIT: Sorry, I saw that the pictures is very small, I'll see if a can fix it.
