I've been having this issue ever since I started using Vista. Whenever I try to view a high def video on gametrailers.com or watch an Xfire broadcast, this appears...

Does it have something to do with 64 bit operating systems? Is there a way of fixing it?

Tried nuking FF and reinstalling yet?

It would seem like it's related to flash. Grab the newest version from adobe
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

It's happened multiple times, even after reformatting

Re-installed FF and Flash and I still get the error. The video plays eventually but the sound is messed up.

Any addons?

EDIT: looks like it's VLC related. Uninstall VLC, reinstall without the FF plugin enabled
