G'day,


I havn't really bothered to ask how to do this, but ive watched a few movies of bf2 and wondering how the cameraman floats around like that, lik hes in some sort of spectator mode? Is there anyway to do it, or do they do it with a mod or something on their own server?

Both are actually correct and incorrect depending on the video...Some servers have "Free Cam" mode enabled...after you die, unselect a spawn point (click anywhere on the map besides a point) then click the X, sometimes you need to press spacebar to activate it, but you can watch or follow pretty much anyone...and move the camera freely...great for catching people in bldings and such. But some servers dont enable it, so it doesnt work then obviously!

my question is the following:
If im killed and decided to take a 1 minute break I usually watch my teammates fighting, with the follow mode of the camera (you know when the camera locks on one person). How shall I avoid the spawn screen, or the minimap pop up all the time?

You can't as far as I know you just have to keep pressing enter to get rid of it v.annoying, unless someone knows how? I'd like to know

push the X on the top right corner it will go away and its not gonna come back...

I'm pretty sure it is, I always click on the X when I want to piss around and watch shit unfold. I don't recall it coming back unless I request it too
