thats about the point I'd do what the hell I was told.the inspector repeatedly ordered him to turn the car off and then said he would spray him if he didn't.

Its not an issue because he was warned REPEATEDLY and still decided to be an ass-hat. Who cares if he didn't say please do what the guy asks and you will both have a trouble free day.The 54-year-old British Columbia resident told The Bellingham Herald that the inspector repeatedly ordered him to turn the car off and then said he would spray him if he didn't.

Right now, yeah chances are good that the Economy would fuck up big time...but when the first "Referendum" was held, it would have worked pretty well.Flecco wrote:

lol fail. there no way it would ever work dude. we'd put an embargo on ur ass and treat u like Gaza. during that referendum, ALL canadain military forces were on stand by to gtfo of quebec if it passed. so you would be a country with no military.Roger Lesboules wrote:

When people don't comply with simple requests. Repeatedly doing so puts the officer on guard. For all he knows, the guy demanding a "please" could have been giving himself time to go for a weapon.mikkel wrote:

he used sanctioned force to subdue a canadian with a sandy vagina. Good job officer.
Quebec's economy cannot sustain it's current rate of consumption of resources. It'd go south whether it was now or 50 years into the future or 10 years in the past.Roger Lesboules wrote:

well, he was warned that he was going to get sprayed
Fucking Canadians...
Pepper spray may have been over the top, but geez. I would have had trouble not reacting in the same way to such a prick.

Oh yeah, let's treat all people like violent criminals. An exchange of words will never, ever warrant physical force of this nature. Especially not on the grounds that people don't "comply with simple requests". The very notion is evidently absurd in your wording. If you want to live in a place where people get pepper sprayed/tased/beaten up for not "complying with simple requests", there are a whole lot of shitholes elsewhere in the world for you to pick.Stingray24 wrote:

The guy was a danger to no one. For as long as that is true, there's absolutely nothing that warrants physical force of that kind, regardless of how paranoid or suspicious the officer might be.
Then arrest the person. Pepper spraying someone sitting in a car being a douche is ridiculous.Adams_BJ wrote:

how it could have went down... traveller=... good evening... officer= can i see your passport... traveller= sure... officer= thank you and have a good night...
Love is the answer
Ideally, yeah, but the ideals give too much credit to the average person and the typical customs and border patrol officer.[TUF]Catbox wrote:

In good 'ol Europe when a Cop/Border Patrol/whatever doesn't behave you roll up your windows, tell him to take a hike and fetch his superior.Freezer wrote:

Now that ya mention it. It appears this guy needed a lesson as to who really is in charge at the border, him or law enforcement. I guess he found out the hard way, it ain't him. I am sure you have nothing but concern and sympathy for this guy.Scorpion0x17 wrote:
