I always try to get a good bang/$ ratio. WCing the GPUs would cost a fair amount and add maybe 200MHz to the shaders. Not worth it when I can get another GTX295 for the same money

Not that hard. I pulled one of my cards apart for the shits and giggles. Took no more than 30 min

you are bringing up good point max... I need to think about this really hard...

EDIT: something is gonna change a lot.... I want cooler GPUs with less noise.

Panzer: i too am thinking about putting my GTX 295 under the drink. this little pre-Spring warm weather spurt we just had made a nice impact on my card's temps.... and it wasn't no humid mid-90 degree day either. Just in the same predicament you're in. Not sure if i want to spend the money on it, or if i CAN spend the money on it.

lol.... I shouldn't have really spent the money, considering i had to buy the $500 GTX 295, and also bought a $180-ish 900w power supply since my previous 600w one didn't have the required connectors (only had two PCI-Express 6-pin, and i can't stand using adapters).
