I clear all my net data regularly, keeps ff moving quick. But is there anyway to save certain site preferences (say, BBC), cause it takes ages to reconfigure

So basically i want to be able to save my settings for sites, and restore them really fast.

What preferences? Like user name and pass?

Like my location, colour scheme, what type of news i want to see etc.

I know CCleaner allows you to select sites to be untouched when performing cookie cleaning. Try it, maybe it leaves all settings untouched.
Go under options>cookies
