Possible Upgrade.

Twas thinking of upgrading my P4 System with this sexy beast:

Would put a 4830 in there for some uber leet gaming (since my laptop broke )
I know it would bottleneck, but how much?

Its a P4 @ 3GHz
2GB @667

I would switch around PSUs so thats no an issue.

Well you can run a PCI-e x16 card with a skt 478 CPU ...

Personally I'd ebay a NV 6600GT or something until you can afford a proper new PC

Currently it has a 6600, but only 256mb of DDR, so it can't even handle TF2 at 800x600 all low
I'm saving up for a new computer, just wanted to see if I could blow some money elsewhere

However a 2 week paycheck gets me $200.
A new Computer costs $800.
If I upgrade I'll have a upgraded computer in 2 weeks and a new computer in 10.
If I wait its 8 weeks without vidja gaeman.
