Is the thermal paste that comes pre applied ok to use or is it best to remove it and use a different paste?

Thanks in advance

The F7P pre-applied is good stuff but AS5 is obviously better.

actually not.  The F7P comes with mx-2 pre applied which is a hair better and has no cure time.

AS5 is no longer the king of TIM. (though it is still very good just there are others that preform better)

I usually don't swap the TIM on the F7P until I reseat it. 1°C difference doesn't matter to me
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

As max once said, "The F7P comes with the good stuff."

lol I had a feeling this would happen......I must admit I'm more in favour of just putting the F7P on with its paste intact rather thatn cleaning it off and then re-applying AS5.....

Do it, less of of a mess, and incredibly easier.  I get great temps with the pre-applied stuff.

For the hassle of taking it off and re applying you might aswell just leave it, its good enough

It could be old stock with mx-1 but it still only be like 1 degrees difference. Mx-2 would make it like 1 degrees better plus it be like 8-6 degrees until the as5 cures.
