Hello there!
My first post here but I’ve been lurking for some time.
This is by far the best BF2 forum I’ve ever come across and I’m hoping to learn/share a lot with you.
Now I have a question regarding Attack Choppers and the cursor while in guided missile mode.
When I started playing BF2 I practiced my helo flying and gunning in Single Player mode (as most people should) but I’ve come across something strange that I’m hoping you might help me with.
* Fly as a gunner in Single Player
* Enters TV guided missile mode
* Puts cursor on target
* Fires
Now here’s the thing:
Whenever I left click to redirect the missile, the cursor leaves a white imprint on the screen to indicate where I just clicked.
This makes it a whole lot easier to obtain a good missile flight since you can pretty much see exactly where the missile is gonna hit.
When I play online I don’t get these imprints when I click so I just thought that it was a “practice feature” for offline play.
However I just read at a different forum that quite a few players still have this “Aiming Aid” (Hmmm, new AA?) so now I’m wondering:
* Do YOU get these imprints when playing online?
* Have you found a way to activate this?
Thanks in advance!
//Best regards Jensa
